Important Updates from Vision Care Center regarding COVID-19

Therefore, effective today – March 18, 2020 – we are postponing all routine eye exams.  We WILL be available for eye emergencies, and we will call you to reschedule your routine eye care.

You are encouraged to call our office (309-670-2020) for any questions and concerns.  We will assist in any way that we can.  For example:

• If you are running low on contact lenses and can’t get in for your annual eye exam, we will be able to order additional contact lenses and have them shipped to you. We will reschedule your annual exam.
• If you need prescriptions refilled for your eye drops or medications, we will refill these for you by calling them in to your pharmacy of choice.
• If you have any eye emergencies, we will coordinate an appropriate evaluation. Some minor eye problems will be able to be addressed via Telehealth exams – utilizing Skype, Zoom, or other programs.  Other more serious eye problems may warrant in-office examinations.  Call into the office to have your concerns triaged appropriately.  We will coordinate an action plan for you.
• If your frames are broken, bent, or need repair, call first and we will coordinate a time to have them repaired.

We know you understand the importance of everyone abiding by these precautions.  The health of our entire Vision Care Center family and our larger community is our first and foremost concern.
