Vision Care Center provides emergency eye care services. When you experience an eye injury, sudden vision changes, or concerns about your eye health, we want to help.
Please contact us during our operating hours so we can bring you in for an emergency appointment.
What Is an Eye Emergency?
An eye emergency can be any problem affecting your eyes and vision.
Common eye emergencies include:
- Cuts and scratches (eye surface or eyelid)
- Double vision or vision loss
- Eye bruising, discharge, or bleeding
- Foreign object in the eye (large or small)
- Chemical exposure
- Sudden or severe eye pain
- Swelling or bulging (eye or eyelid)
Seek Emergency Care
An appropriate medical professional should immediately see any life-threatening injuries or health concerns. If there is significant bleeding or symptoms affecting other body parts, visit an emergency room.
For all concerns affecting eyes and vision, you can contact Vision Care Center. Please visit your nearest emergency care center when an eye emergency develops outside our office hours.
