Vision Care Center was established in 1987 by Dr. Roger Fitch. The practice has grown over the past three decades into a premier office for eye care service. With a keen focus on service, attention, and care, Vision Care Center provides primary care optometry to patients of all ages. The Peoria office features a wide array of diagnostic equipment, state-of-the-art technology, and cutting-edge eye care products. This office also features the specialty service of Vision Therapy – the only office in Central Illinois to feature a full-scope, in-office vision therapy department.
Dr. Roger W. Fitch
Dr. Roger Fitch has enjoyed practicing optometry in Peoria since 1976. Dr. Fitch attended Illinois State University and graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. After ten years with Dr. Clarence Ward M.D., Dr. Fitch took over the practice of the retiring optometrist Dr. Robert Russell. Dr. Timothy G. Cundiff
Dr. Timothy Cundiff hails from East Peoria. He is a graduate of Peoria Notre Dame High School and Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. In 2008, he graduated from Indiana University School of Optometry. He then returned home to Peoria and joined Dr. Roger Fitch in practice at Vision Care Center. In 2013, he was elected President of the Illinois Valley Optometric Society. In 2014, he was named Young Optometrist of the Year in the State of Illinois. In 2015, he was elected as a Trustee for the Illinois Optometric Association.
